Applicants should have true design and communication flair evidenced through a strong portfolio and project track record. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential. Ideally you should have experience of working on UK residential projects, with a working knowledge of UK regulations and guidance, and with excellent written and verbal communication in English. It is an advantage if candidates live and work, or have worked, in the UK. Applicants must have the necessary Visas to work in the UK and a National Insurance Number - GRID cannot sponsor or obtain work permits.

We have a new opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Manager with proven experience to join a 50+ architectural practice in a restored 19th century warehouse adjacent to the Tate Modern in Southwark (with connections to Waterloo/London Bridge/Blackfriars/Southwark).You will develop, lead and implement the marketing and communications strategy for the practice. You will have relevant experience, preferably within an architects’ practice. We are looking for a talented, organised multi-tasker with who can deliver effective outputs and results.

  • Graphics and Standardisation
  • Awards and Exhibitions
  • Website and Social Media
  • Events and Memberships
  • Press and Publications

  • Respond to ITT & PQQ

Essential Skills required:

  • Marketing, Communications and PR specialist with at least 3 – 5 years’ experience
  • Proven experience of working in a similar professional practice environment, preferably within Architecture or design
  • Extensive knowledge of industry awards and submissions
  • Experience of press and awards, adjudicators expectations and requirements
  • Relationships with affiliated and governing bodies
  • Track record of success in all aspects
  • Membership of the CIM or similar professional body
  • Excellent writing and editing skills Highly competent with use of graphics and IT, in particular In-Design
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and take full ownership and responsibility
  • A team player who is able to work under their own initiative.
  • Reliable, hard-working and flexible.
  • Highly organised and efficient with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and work efficiently to tight deadlines
